Breasts about to take off and butts like landing strips, chocolate suntans and designer bikinis… They put Christ the Redeemer on top of the Corcovado to make sure that with so much beauty the cariocas didn’t lose sight of reality. Maybe that’s why going topless is not appreciated in Brazil. Never mind, Brazilians, smart as they are, made swimsuits so tiny that here, dressed-up women are sexier than naked women in other countries. You see, next to Ipanema or Copacabana, Benidorm is like a common butcher’s shop.

It’s not that the mix of native Indian, former black slaves and white settlers is not attractive. It is.
