Arrival at Addis Abeba International Airport. Transfer to hotel. Walk through the city centre. Night in Addis Abeba. 

Transfer to Arba Minch by private car, stopping at Langano for lunch. Walk through Arba Minch. Night in Arba Minch. 

Early morning game drive in Neth Sar Park, in order to see zebras, kudus and deer. Afternoon boat safari through Lake Chamo, looking for hippos and the biggest crocodiles in Africa (6 metres long). Night in Arba Minch. 

Road trip from Arba Minch to Jinka, meeting the Konso and the Tsemay people on the way (Konso market on Mondays and Saturdays / Tsemay market on Saturdays). Night in Jinka. 

Game drive through Mago National Park. Visit to a Mursi village, whose women wear plates in their lower lips. Nigh in Jinka. 

Transfer to Turmi. Visit to a Hamer village. If possible, attend to a wedding ceremony, observing the bull jumping rituals. Visit to the Hamer Market (on Tuesday). Night in Turmi. 

Road trip to Arba Minch visiting an Erbore village and a Konso village on the way (market on Mondays and Saturdays). Night in Arba Minch. 

Visit to Chencha, a Dorze village famous because of the peculiar design of the houses and the usage of the "false banana" to cook their traditional bread. Return to Addis Abeba. Night in Addis Abeba. 

Flight to Bahir Dar. Visit to the Blue Nile Falls. Boat ride through Lake Tana visiting the monasteries. Night in Bahir Dar. 

Transfer to Gondar by minivan. Visit to the Royal Palaces of Gondar, the Debre Birhan Sellasie Church and the King Fasiladas Bath. Night in Gondar. 

Flight to Lalibela, a World Heritage Site. Visit to the first sector of churches, including the famous Church of Saint George. Walk through the town. Night in Lalibela. 

Visit to Asheton Mariam Church, situated on the outskirts of Lalibela. Visit to the second sector of Lalibela churches. Night in Lalibela. 

Flight to Axum. Visit to Saint Mary of Zion church, where Orthodox Ethiopians say the real Ark of the Covenant is. Visit to the Archaeological Museum. Visit to the remnants of Queen of Sheba's Palace. Night in Axum. 

Flight to Addis Abeba. Walk through the city, and in case you have enough time, visit to some of the main attractions in Addis: the Mercato, Sant Jorge's Cathedral, Menelik's Palace... Night in Addis Abeba. 

Visit to Addis Abeba main attractions: the Mercato, Saint George's Cathedral, Menelik's Palace, the Jubilee Palace and the Meskal (revolution) Square. Night in Addis Abeba. 

Flight back home.
