Banpo Bridge:

Banpo Bridge

Brief description: located on the Han River, this bridge is very popular because it has a water and light fountain along it, which fall and move at certain times of the day forming a kind of rainbow. The best place to observe it is from the south side, and from under the bridge, since if you put yourself to the side (for example on the floating islands), the effect is not so beautiful. So it is better to go at night, and get under the bridge on the side where the water comes out that day (it changes depending on where the wind comes from)Brief description: located on the Han River, this bridge is very popular because it has a source of water and lights along its route, which fall and move at certain times of the day forming a kind of rainbow. The best place to observe it is from the south side, from under the bridge, since if you put yourself to the side (for example on the floating islands), the effect is not so beautiful. So it is better to go at night, and get right under the bridge on which side the water comes out (it changes every day depending on where the wind comes from). Take the opportunity to see the impressive Sebitseom Floating Island at night, which is spectacular. It is formed by 3 islets: Visat (it has a flower shape and is used for concerts and exhibitions), Viva (it has a cocoon shape and houses restaurants) and Terra (it has a seed shape and houses nautical facilities).

Duration of the visit: the fountain show lasts 15min the first 2 sessions, 20min the rest. Seeing the islands, you will be in the area 1h approx.

Hours: 12.00, 19.30, 20.00, 20.30, 21.00 (extra function at 21.30 in Jul and Aug).
