Dinner in Kyoto:

We recommend the Kimukatsu restaurant. Its speciality is pork cutlets in breadcrumbs (kimukatsu, also called tonkatsu). It may not seem like it, but this is another classic of Japanese cuisine (yes, the Japanese do eat something other than sushi!). The cheese kimukatsu is particularly delicious!! It comes with salad and soup. Price per person: around 2,500¥.

The Coyemiti is in the Cocoon restaurant centre, in Karasuma Street, next to Shijo station. To get there, turn left when leaving the Karasuma hotel and walk halfway to the next block. Go down into the basement and take the first corridor to the left.
