Back in Lijiang, we recommend strolling about and then stopping off for a rest at Café Prague, a charming spot for reading a book or magazine (15-20CNY per drink). They have books to exchange and for sale. It's located next to the restaurant Nasi: take Dong Da Street out of Market Square; it's on the first bridge on the right.
