Lunch or dinner near the Whenshu monastery:
A pedestrian zone ideal for taking a stroll flanks the monastery. It's teeming with little restaurants for having a snack. We recommend a place to the left of the O&O Hotel where they serve grilled fish. Order the squid and cuttlefish, which are served with vegetables and costs 7CNY. Directly in front, they prepare something that resembles pita bread stuffed with meat (at 4CNY, they're delicious!). Also try cosy Café Zero, located on the main street (from the entrance towards the monastery), for tea, coffee or soda.
