Visit to the Pantheon:

Panteón, Roma

  • Brief description: it is one of the best preserved monuments of Ancient Rome. It is curious that apart from being spectacular it is not a place that people tend to mention much. It is an ancient Roman temple which was converted into a Catholic church in the VII century. Inside are the tombs of the kings Victor Emmanuel II and Umberto I and the painter Raphael. The most surprising thing is to see how the light filters in through the nine-meter diameter hole in the dome.
