Plan your trip with our itineraries

Stroll through university area (1h):

If you have spare time before leaving, we recommend taking a walk along Calle San Jerónimo to Plaza Universidad, getting to know the centre of the city and experiencing its university atmosphere. Along the way note the interior courtyard of the Conservatorio Superior de Música, an absolute wonder! Continue until Plaza de San Juan de Dios, where you'll find the Monastery of St. Jerome. Return on Calle de la Duquesa (1 hour).

On Calle Angulo (near Plaza Trinidad), is Mesón la Romana. It's one of the few places in Granada where you can choose the tapa you want to accompany your drink! There is a menu listing hot tapas. The "canape adobado" (marinated canapé), "canapé manchego" (Manchego cheese canapé), the "brocheta alpujarreña" (alpujarra brochette) and the "pincho moruno" (pork kebab) are excellent (draft beer 1.90?).
