For dinner tonight we recommend El Mercado de la Reina (Gran Vía 12, between Calle Clavel and Calle de Víctor Hugo), a modern restaurant with traditional food at very reasonable prices. The kitchen is open every day from 9.00am to 2.00am.
We recommend the homemade Iberian ham croquettes (6.50€), seasonal heirloom tomato salad with tuna belly and Modena vinaigrette (8.50€) and eggs sautéed with mushrooms and shrimp (14€). If you're very hungry, try the hamburger with French fries (10.50€). Dinner will run you about 20-25€ per person. The midday snacks at the bar are also very good.
