Taipei Confucius Temple:

Taipei Confucius Temple

Brief description: although Confucianism is originally a philosophy of life, for many it is an authentic religion. And they show it with these wonderful temples that always radiate peace and tranquility. At the entrance you can take a brochure (available in many languages) and follow the route that they propose, where they will explain a little of the history and bases of Confucianism, and also the legend of the unicorn that surrounded the life and death of Confucius (kids love this). Do not miss the room where they explain the origin of Chinese writing, because it is really interesting!

Hours: 08.30 - 21.00. Closed on Mondays.

Cost: free.

How to get there: it is next to Baoan Temple, MRT Yuanshan Station (red line). Exit 2, walk 8min.
